Who runs the world? Girls. And by "runs the world," I mean makes cheese and whiskey, of course.
Come discover some of your new favorite women-centered distilleries and dairies as we partner yet again with local friends: the Women Who Whiskey Long Beach Chapter! We're taking a global tour of distilleries that are making distinctly different styles of whiskey, and where women play a major role in production.
We've paired them together with four cheeses from similarly women-centered dairies. (And y'all, lemme tell you... we got some bangers on our hands.) The Madames du Fromages Erika Ponzo and Zoe Proval will be on hand slangin' that knowledge. (Plus selling cheese after the event, if you just *have* to take some home...)
All that, and a welcome cocktail to kick things off! The party starts at Oh La Vache! (2112 E. 4th St. in Long Beach) 7 PM on Thursday, 8/10, and Friday, 8/11. Tickets are $65 per person (inclusive of Eventbrite fees). Act fast! These tickets tend to disappear pretty quickly.
Must be 21 or older to attend events. Women Who Whiskey promotes responsible drinking; plan your trip accordingly, using public transportation, designated drivers, or ride apps as appropriate.
Women Who Whiskey is an experimental whiskey club and women-centered space, though all genders are welcome. For amateurs and connoisseurs alike, Women Who Whiskey gives our members the opportunity to learn about whiskies and cocktail culture and to join a network of like-minded people with a taste for curiosity and strong drinks.
